A BIT ABOUT ME

Having grown up surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes, I decided to turn my love of animals into a career. I went on to study Veterinary Nursing in UCD and graduated in 2006. I have worked at Treaty Veterinary Clinic in Limerick as Veterinary Nurse for 16 years. During this time I took a year to travel to Australia and worked in a large referral veterinary hospital in Sydney. It was here that I was given the opportunity to develop some physiotherapy skills for small animals and decided to return home to use these skills where I felt they were so lacking. In 2010, I began studying Veterinary Physiotherapy in Harper Adams University and spent two years travelling to and from the UK for study before graduating in 2012. Once qualified, I decided continue my study in Hydrotherapy, another passion of mine and in 2012 I received a Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy. Over the last 8 years I have worked between Cork, Limerick, Clare and Galway as a physiotherapist and hydrotherapist.

I am currently situated in Treaty Veterinary Clinic, a small animal clinic situated in Limerick City. I am very lucky to be affiliated with a team of respected veterinary professionals who are great advocates for the importance of rehabilitation for their patients.
