APPOINTMENTS & TREATMENTS

At Limerick Canine Physiotherapy, I consider Veterinary Physiotherapy to be complementary to Veterinary Medicine, not alternative. I prefer the team approach attitude and so I will work closely with you and your veterinary surgeon to provide the best course of treatment for your pet. Throughout your pets treatment I use a range of outcome measures to re-assess and monitor their progress and will regularly touch base with your Vet with updates regarding treatment. Your pets appointment will include a combination of manual and electro therapies and a home exercise programme will be prescribed based on their requirements. Your pets appointment can range from 30-60 mins and it is best if you remain with your pet for the full appointment.

Appointments are by Veterinary referral only. A Referral Form can be downloaded for you and your vet to fill out prior to making an appointment.

The majority of insurance companies will cover physiotherapy, but please check with your insurer prior to your pet’s appointment.
